“"We have been asking about the situation of these lands for months, both in writing and in informative commissions, without the Councilor for Territory being able to clarify anything. Now, however, we see a new video from the mayor in which he sells a new parking area, the works of which are being carried out by Villarreal CF, not the City Council."

The Popular Party of Vila-real has denounced a lack of transparency in municipal management regarding a plot of land from the former Dolores García Foundation and the creation of a new parking area, questioning the involvement of Villarreal CF in the works.
Popular councilor Jaume Llorens has expressed his concern about the situation of these lands, located between Ermita Street and Cordó Street. According to Llorens, despite repeated written inquiries and questions in informative commissions, the councilor for Territory has not provided any clarification.
The PP points out that Mayor José Benlloch has presented a new parking area in the zone, but the works are being executed by Villarreal CF and not by the City Council. This situation, according to Llorens, demonstrates a consistent lack of transparency in Benlloch's management during his 15 years in office.
Furthermore, the popular party criticizes that the executive formed by PSOE and Compromís has generated "false expectations" among residents and social entities in the city. They also recall the "new socio-health resources" that Benlloch and the socialists promised during the last election campaign, which, according to the PP, are "empty announcements" with no projects or economic resources initiated.
