The initiative, promoted by the Onda City Council, has transformed the emblematic castle into a meeting point for leisure and culture. From early morning, numerous families participated in a Chinese shadow puppet workshop inside the museum, where children could explore this tradition interactively.
“"We continue to fill our historical spaces with proposals designed for family enjoyment and to bring our heritage closer to all audiences. We are committed to an accessible cultural program that makes Onda an attractive destination also during festive periods like Easter."
In the afternoon, activities moved outdoors with a finger puppet construction workshop, culminating in the show La princesa o no. This performance gathered dozens of attendees, bringing a festive close to a day designed for all ages.
This municipal effort reinforces the integration of cultural programming in heritage spaces, turning the Castle into an active stage for family leisure. The goal is to offer quality leisure alternatives and, at the same time, bring local heritage to new generations in an educational and accessible way. This activity is part of the special Easter program, which has included theatrical visits and the opening of other historical enclaves such as the Torre de la Presó, the Museo del Taulell, and the Molí de la Reixa.
Onda's tourism and cultural program will continue beyond the holiday week, with new proposals to revitalize the municipality. The next theatrical visit is scheduled for May 1. Those interested can obtain more information or register through the Onda Tourist Info.
