The Vila-real City Council has launched a new discount voucher campaign to boost local commerce, with an initial investment of 150,000 euros that could reach 250,000 euros.

This initiative seeks to reactivate the local commercial fabric and offer relief to families' pockets during a time of crisis. The campaign will allow citizens to acquire vouchers with a 50% discount, directly funded by the municipal administration.
To participate, citizens must be over 18 years old and registered in Vila-real on the date of the call. Vouchers of 20, 50, and 100 euros will be available, of which only half of their nominal value must be paid. Each person can acquire a maximum of 100 euros in vouchers, which means a total subsidy of 50 euros per beneficiary.
The vouchers will be acquired through an online sales platform, although in-person purchase points will be enabled for those with technological difficulties. To use them, simply present the voucher, either printed or in digital format, at the participating store before making the payment. It is important to remember that each voucher is for single use and must be spent in full in a single purchase; if the purchase amount is less than the voucher value, the difference will not be refunded in cash, nor can it be reused.

This is a golden opportunity to build customer loyalty and increase sales at no cost to participating merchants.

Vouchers will be assigned in strict order of request until the available credit is exhausted, so it is recommended not to wait until the last minute. They will have a specific usage period determined in the call, which will not be less than 15 calendar days, and if not used before the deadline, they will lose their value without possibility of claim.
