The Burriana City Council will allocate €146,948.47 for the repair and improvement of the municipality's children's play areas and biosaludable spaces, an initiative to be presented at the next plenary session.

The intervention, which will affect 24 locations spread across all neighborhoods of the capital of La Plana Baixa, aims to fix damages resulting from daily use and the passage of time. The goal is to ensure that children's leisure areas and urban sports spaces maintain adequate conditions of safety, accessibility, and comfort for citizens.
The technical assessment of the plan includes interventions in various parts of the municipality. By economic volume, notable projects include the 9 d’Octubre park, with €27,752.77; Plaça de Les Eres, with €18,558.91; Jardins de Sant Jaume, with €17,685.94; and the Quarts de Calatrava area, with €15,736.91.
The project also includes funds to renovate children's and recreational areas on Mestre Vicent Asensio street, with €13,547.41; Plaça Diputació, with €6,245.84; Avenida Mediterrània, with €4,344.57; Finello, with €3,814.99; and Plaça de l’Hereu, with €3,004.39. Additionally, smaller interventions are planned for other spaces such as Mestre Rodrigo or Jardí del Bes.

"Maintaining our recreational areas in optimal and completely safe conditions is of great importance to this government team, as parks are the main meeting points, places for coexistence, and play for Burriana's families."

In this regard, the councilor added that "with this significant investment of over €146,000, we will not only address daily wear and tear but also continue our efforts to improve urban spaces and the safety of our youngest residents in all neighborhoods of the municipality."
