The incident occurred around 5:00 PM and quickly mobilized firefighters from the Castellón Provincial Council and health services. Although initial reports warned of potentially trapped individuals, this was ruled out upon the arrival of emergency personnel.

The Castellón Provincial Fire Consortium deployed two units from the Plana Baixa park, along with a command unit, supported by personnel from Valencia. Upon reaching the accident site, they confirmed that no victims were trapped in the vehicles involved.

Meanwhile, the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) dispatched a SAMU unit and a Basic Life Support (BLS) unit. Health services attended to two men: one 49 years old with abdominal and dorsal trauma, and another 59 years old with mild head trauma. Both were transferred to La Plana Hospital for medical evaluation.
