Spectacular Accident Between Two Trucks on the AP-7 Near Almenara

Two trucks collided on the AP-7 near Almenara, heading towards Castellón, on Sunday afternoon, causing minor injuries and significant traffic delays.

A spectacular traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon, shortly before 5:00 PM, on the AP-7 as it passes through the municipality of Almenara. Two trucks collided while traveling towards Castellón, resulting in one of the vehicles ending up off the road with its cabin completely destroyed.
The drivers of both trucks sustained minor injuries, prompting a SAMU ambulance to be dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. According to information provided by the Provincial Fire Consortium of Castellón, no individuals were trapped as a result of the collision.
Emergency operations involved personnel from the Provincial Fire Consortium of Castellón and also firefighters from the Provincial Consortium of Valencia. The incident was recorded at kilometer 465.2 of the highway, in the decreasing direction of mileage.
The accident led to the closure of the right lane in the affected direction of traffic, which caused significant traffic jams and vehicle queues extending for several kilometers. To manage the situation, two fire brigades and a command unit from the Plana Baixa park were mobilized.
Once the injured were attended to, emergency teams proceeded to disconnect the batteries of the involved vehicles and clear the accident area to restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.
