Over 500 families in Vila-real have benefited during the 2025-2026 academic year from free early childhood education for 0-3 year olds, an initiative by the Generalitat Valenciana that has involved an investment of over 1.7 million euros in the city.

The Popular Party of Vila-real has celebrated the success of this measure, which has allowed over 500 children to be enrolled in the existing 0-3 year old early childhood education classrooms in the city. Local spokesperson Adrián Casabó highlighted that this commitment by the Consell to free and universal education represents a significant change for many families.
Casabó emphasized that the initiative has enabled Vila-real families to save between 3,500 and 4,000 euros per child during the academic year that has just ended. He contrasted this policy with that of the previous Botànic Government, stating that free early childhood education has become a universal right, not a limited aid.
The popular leader concluded that, in contrast to a government that increases fiscal pressure, the regional PP government is committed to free education from the earliest months of life, thereby facilitating family and work-life balance.
