The label guarantees that communications aimed at this public meet criteria that promote informed decision-making, personal autonomy, and critical thinking, especially in the face of information overload and false content on social media.

To achieve this distinction, the council underwent an audit process that included a self-assessment of the service and an external evaluation carried out by a group of young people. This latter aspect allowed for direct assessment of the usefulness of the information offered, its ease of understanding, and Casal Jove's ability to respond to the real concerns of Onda's young population.
With the acquisition of the label, the City Council also commits to respecting the principles set out in the European Youth Information Charter, which implies maintaining complete, objective, reliable, and accessible communication. The accreditation is valid for three years and will allow Onda's youth information publications, guides, and services to incorporate this internationally recognized quality mark, consolidating the quality of its public services for youth.
