This municipal initiative will allow beneficiary entities to cover up to 90% of the expenses derived from the maintenance of these meeting spaces. The grant line, recently published in the Official Gazette of the Province, is aimed at those associations registered in the Municipal Register of Associations that carry out traditional festive activities and do not have a premises directly provided by the council.
The Neighborhoods department of the local administration has highlighted that the goal is to strengthen the activity that neighborhood groups carry out throughout the year. In addition, the council offers direct advice to associations during the entire processing period to facilitate the submission of applications and resolve any questions that may arise.

The grants, which will be awarded on a competitive basis, cover expenses such as premises rental, provided they are duly justified. This measure is part of the municipal commitment to proximity, reinforced by initiatives such as the periodic Barri a Barri meetings, which seek to listen to the needs of residents and improve the services and resources of each area of Onda.
