Onda Flamenca Returns to Fill Raval de Sant Josep with Music and Festivities

The fifth edition of the festival will offer free concerts, workshops, and shows from May 15 to 17, featuring La Cabra Mecánica and a tribute to Camela.

The town of Onda is preparing for the fifth edition of Onda Flamenca, a festival that will fill Raval de Sant Josep with music, workshops, and free shows from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17, solidifying its position as a cultural benchmark.

This festival, which concentrates all its programming in Raval de Sant Josep, reinforces the municipality's commitment to culture and music. The Culture Councilor of Onda, Daniel Álvaro, highlighted the effort to offer a more intimate and close format, aiming for the public to enjoy local hospitality and experience the festival in a more personal way.

This edition's lineup combines renowned national artists with tribute bands and local talent. Among the most anticipated performances are the concert by La Cabra Mecánica, a tribute to Camela, and various flamenco and rumba proposals that will extend throughout the weekend.
The program will begin on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 PM with the performance by De Calle. An hour later, at 8:00 PM, the tribute to Camela will be one of the most popular moments. On Saturday, May 16, the festival will kick off at noon with the afternoon session by Los Makis at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, Desde Dentro will perform at 5:00 PM and Efraín at 6:30 PM. The main event of the day will be La Cabra Mecánica at 8:00 PM, while DJ Flamenco will close the night starting at 9:30 PM.
Sunday, May 17 will have a more family-oriented character, starting at 11:00 AM with a free children's flamenco workshop. Afterwards, live music will continue with De Jaleo at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, Isra Maldonado will perform at 5:00 PM and Una y nos vamos at 6:30 PM, the group responsible for closing the festival with the participation of former bullfighter Fran Rivera on guitar.
With this fifth edition, Onda Flamenca consolidates its position as one of the most prominent events in the municipality's cultural program. The festival aims to boost local hospitality and fill the center of Onda with atmosphere throughout the weekend, bringing culture closer to the public.
