The town of Onda is preparing for the fifth edition of the Onda Flamenca festival, which will take place from May 15 to 17 in the Raval de San José, featuring prominent participation from La Cabra Mecánica and Fran Rivera.

The Onda City Council has presented the official program for the fifth edition of Onda Flamenca, thus consolidating the initiative to make the city a benchmark for art and music. This year, the emblematic Raval de San José will become the epicenter of flamenco and rumba from Friday, May 15 to Sunday, May 17, with uninterrupted performances, workshops, and shows, all with free admission.

"This year we have opted to take another step forward and offer a more intimate format, concentrating all the programming in a unique space like the Raval de San José. We want the public to enjoy our hospitality and share and experience the festival in a closer way."

Daniel Álvaro · Onda Culture Councillor
This edition's lineup stands out for a carefully curated combination of nationally renowned artists, such as the legendary band La Cabra Mecánica, highly popular tribute shows, and essential local talent. This proposal is designed to boost the local economy, fill the streets with a festive atmosphere, and ensure that culture reaches every corner of the municipality.
The festival will kick off on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 PM, when the group De Calle will inaugurate the stage at Raval de San José with their unmistakable rhythm. At 8:00 PM, attendees can enjoy singing and dancing thanks to a highly anticipated Tribute to Camela. On Saturday, May 16, the Raval will come alive from midday with the afternoon session by Los Makis (12:30 PM), continuing in the afternoon with performances by Desde Dentro (5:00 PM) and Efraín (6:30 PM). The highlight of the day will arrive at 8:00 PM with the anticipated concert by the legendary band La Cabra Mecánica, handing over to DJ Flamenco (9:30 PM) to close the night.
Finally, Sunday, May 17 will offer a more family-friendly atmosphere starting at 11:00 AM with a free children's flamenco workshop. After this activity, live music will return with De Jaleo (12:30 PM), followed by the performance of Isra Maldonado (5:00 PM). The closing of the program will be handled by the group Una y nos vamos, who will bring this fifth edition to a close on Sunday at 6:30 PM. The performance will also feature a special incentive with the presence of former bullfighter Fran Rivera on guitar.
With this new edition, the Onda Flamenca Festival reaffirms its position as one of the most prominent and anticipated cultural events in the municipal program. Its consolidation as a genre benchmark is the result of a trajectory that has seen great figures from the national music scene, such as Pastora Soler, Manzanita, and Falete in previous years. In 2023, the lineup brought together Antonio Carmona, Los Chichos, Camela, La Húngara, and Los Makis. This high artistic level was maintained in 2024 with Canelita and Azúcar Moreno, and more recently, in 2025, with Los Yakis and Tijeritas, demonstrating Onda's firm commitment to culture.
