The Moncofa City Council and Facsa have completed the first phase of a preventive treatment campaign in the sanitation network, aiming to control pests such as cockroaches and rodents before temperatures rise.

These works, carried out between April 13 and 16, seek to prevent the proliferation of pests with the arrival of spring and the progressive increase in temperatures. The operation has been divided into two phases: a first intervention in the most critical points and a second, scheduled for the summer months, which will cover the entire network.
The service reinforces surveillance in the most sensitive areas of the sewage system, where actions are taken recurrently to ensure greater effectiveness in pest control. Both the council and the operating company have indicated that the biocides used are approved and comply with current regulations.
This initiative ensures public safety and environmental protection, reaffirming the commitment of the Moncofa City Council to public health and the proper maintenance of the municipality's hydraulic infrastructure.
