On May 13, the Civil Guard of Castellón will commemorate the 182nd anniversary of the corps' foundation with an institutional ceremony in the Plaza del Mercado of La Vall d'Uixó. This event, starting at 12:00 PM, will bring together civil and military authorities from the province in a town that, for the first time, hosts this celebration outside the provincial capital.
The program for the event will include the reading of the founding decrees of the Civil Guard, the awarding of decorations to distinguished members, and the presentation of diplomas to the most veteran agents. A heartfelt tribute will also be paid to Civil Guard officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, recognizing their dedication and sacrifice.
The institutional day will conclude with the performance of the Civil Guard anthem and a military parade featuring different specialties of the corps, showcasing the diversity and preparedness of its units.

As part of the activities organized to bring the institution closer to the public, on May 16, an exhibition of resources will be held on the esplanade of peñas in La Vall d'Uixó. This activity, taking place between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, will offer the opportunity to learn firsthand about the resources and specialized units of the armed institution, fostering proximity with the population.
