Since its inauguration as a new cultural epicenter, resulting from the recovery of an emblematic old ceramic factory, this space has evolved into a versatile meeting point serving the city. It has hosted everything from concerts and presentations to technical conferences, business meetings, and neighborhood activities.
“"La Campaneta is today a living space, open to all, demonstrating how recovering our heritage can transform the cultural and social life of Onda. We have managed to make this space a cultural benchmark and a driving force for associations, businesses, and local groups."
Throughout 2024 and 2025, La Campaneta has developed a broad and growing program, establishing a stable agenda year-round. Among the most notable events are European gatherings such as the URBACT program conferences, professional congresses, and technical roundtables organized by entities like the College of Architects or the Ceramic Technology Institute (ITC).
The space has also been the setting for business and innovation events such as Focus Pyme Onda, business intelligence conferences, Red Impulso meetings, and corporate events for companies like Peronda Group and Acrilatos, reinforcing its role as a connection point with the local productive fabric.
In the cultural sphere, La Campaneta has hosted concerts and music series from local entities such as UMSCo and SAMVO, piano performances, and innovative formats like Candlelight concerts, in addition to literary presentations, exhibitions, conferences, and performing arts activities like dance or acroyoga. It has also accommodated social and neighborhood initiatives such as community events, associative gatherings, sports galas, chess championships, ceramic craft fairs, and educational activities like escape rooms for schoolchildren, extending its impact to audiences of all ages.
One of the key elements of La Campaneta's success is its public service vocation. Since its opening, the facilities have been made available to neighborhood associations, social groups, and businesses, facilitating the organization of their own events and fostering citizen participation. La Campaneta's reach extends beyond the local sphere, as in 2024 the project was recognized at a European level as a good URBACT practice, positioning Onda among leading cities in urban regeneration and heritage reuse.
