The third edition of the Diversity Festival, organized by the VilaTEA association, filled Termet de Vila-real with inclusive activities for all ages, aiming to raise awareness about the autistic reality.

The Plaça del Pastoret, located in the natural park of Termet de Vila-real, was the setting for this celebration last Saturday. The event, part of the program surrounding Autism Day, saw the participation of dozens of residents of all ages.
Among the attendees were the mayor, José Benlloch, and the Councilor for Social Services, Toni Marín, along with other members of the municipal corporation, who wished to support this initiative. The festival offered a wide variety of activities, including adapted children's games, sensory proposals, and a calm zone, designed to create a meeting space for neurodivergent and neurotypical families.

The day also included a snack and a magic show by Mago Perete. For the organizers, these types of events are the best example of the possibility of building a shared and inclusive world.
Celia González, president of VilaTEA, expressed her gratitude to the more than 60 collaborators and sponsors who made the festival possible. Furthermore, the association will continue its program on April 18 with a conference by occupational therapist Miriam Pérez, titled How to help neurodivergent people in their daily activities. The talk will take place at 11:00 AM at the VilaTEA headquarters, at number 10 on València street.
