The Municipal Arts Center of Burriana has launched the 'JugArt: art in childhood' project, an initiative that brings music, dance, and plastic arts to 191 two-year-old students from various nursery schools in the town.

This proposal, organized in two sessions, has been promoted by the Department of Social Services, through the ADI, and the Department of Culture. The program offers a first approach to these artistic disciplines through workshops adapted for two-year-old students, all within a playful and educational environment.
Participants have enjoyed music, dance, and plastic arts workshops, guided by specialized teachers. In addition, they were treated to a welcome performance by the Coro Carnevale. Several educational centers in Burriana have collaborated in this initiative, such as CEIP Roca i Alcaide, Villa Fátima, El Trenet, La Balena, El Borreguet, Infante Felipe, CEIP Penyagolosa, Los Ángeles, and CEIP José Iturbi.

"Bringing art closer from childhood fosters the emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children."

the Councilor for Social Services
For his part, the Councilor for Culture has indicated that this proposal reinforces the municipal commitment to early artistic education. He highlighted that the project is supported by consolidated initiatives such as the Artistic Garden, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
