Burriana concludes academic year with concert and arts graduation

The Municipal Centre of Arts in Burriana has marked the end of the academic year with an emotional concert by students from the Abel Mus Elementary Conservatory of Music and the Pasqual Rubert Municipal School, followed by a graduation ceremony.

The Payà Theatre in Burriana hosted a performance where students showcased their year's work with a repertoire based on well-known film scores and popular songs. The day concluded with a graduation ceremony for students finishing their studies at the Abel Mus Elementary Conservatory of Music and the Municipal School of Dance.
The musical program transported the audience to cinematic and television universes. The concert opened with "The Magnificent Seven," followed by "Avengers." The students also performed renditions of "Willy Fog (Around the World in 80 Days)" and "Over the Rainbow," as well as "D'Artacán" and the theme "Golden" from the soundtrack of K-Pop Stars. The performance, directed by Raúl Martín, highlighted the artistic evolution and the collaborative work of students and faculty.
After the concert, the focus shifted to the students concluding a significant stage in their artistic education. The graduation ceremony brought together students from the 4th year of Elementary Studies at the Abel Mus Elementary Conservatory of Music and those finishing their studies at the Municipal School of Dance. The Councillor for Culture, Alejandro Clausell, emphasized the importance of artistic education as a driver of personal and cultural growth, and praised the efforts of the Municipal Centre of Arts in fostering local talent.
The ceremony included speeches from the director of the Municipal Centre of Arts, Ana Llopis; the director of the Music Area, Anna Pitarch; the director of the Dance Area, Juan Mochales; and students Hugo Arnau and Anna Abaso, representing their peers. The students' perseverance, commitment, and progress were highlighted, along with the support of their families and the dedication of the teaching staff.
