The second round of the 2026 Spanish Jet Ski Championship held at Burriana's L'Arenal beach has generated a media impact valued at 1,060,000 euros, according to official data.

The competition has established Burriana as a leading venue for national powerboating and has enhanced the municipality's tourism and sports profile. The event brought together nearly 90 of Spain's top riders in the Circuit and Rallyjet categories, making Burriana's coast the national epicenter for this sport for several days.
The event, organized by the Royal Spanish Powerboating Federation and the Valencian Powerboating Federation in collaboration with the City Council of Burriana, was notable for both its competitive level and its extensive media coverage. The competition was broadcast on major television channels and platforms such as RTVE Play, LaLiga+, COE TV, Movistar+, and Náutica TV, a key audiovisual reference in Spain's nautical sector.
This diffusion was complemented by a strong presence on social media and in specialized print and digital outlets, including Náutica Digital, significantly amplifying the Burriana brand across the country.

L'Arenal beach had become a major sporting stage, positioning Burriana's coast as the nerve center of Spanish powerboating during the championship.

The Councilor for Sports, Fran Capdevila, highlighted that a media and commercial valuation exceeding one million euros demonstrated how investing in competitions of this caliber amplifies the city's projection. Capdevila also emphasized that the event extended beyond sports, serving as a significant tool for tourism and institutional promotion that helps strengthen and consolidate the Burriana brand long-term throughout Spain.
