The Alfondeguilla Town Council has once again organized the traditional Pujà a la Cova de Sant Vicent, coinciding with the feast day of the patron saint of the Valencian Community, on April 15, 2026.

This event, which combines devotion to the Valencian patron saint with hiking and respect for nature, has become one of the most cherished events on the local calendar in Alfondeguilla.
The day began in the early afternoon from the Town Hall square, where residents of all ages gathered to start the ascent. The trail, flanked by the spectacular landscape of the Sierra de Espadán, led participants to the emblematic cave.
At the cave, the youngest participants were able to pass through the well-known 'bouet' once again, keeping alive a tradition that strengthens the municipality's identity and community.
