Vilafamés will return to the year 1900 from May 1st to 3rd with a new edition of its emblematic Traditional Life Exhibition, an event that since 2004 has consolidated as one of the most outstanding cultural and tourist proposals in the region.

During these days, the old town of the municipality, declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC), will be completely transformed to recreate the atmosphere, trades, and daily life of the early 20th century. Streets, squares, and public spaces will become living stages that will allow visitors to experience immersively what daily life was like in that era.
The exhibition will highlight traditional trades, with live demonstrations of artisan work and customary scenes that revive activities typical of that time. The program will be completed with music, dances, performances, and continuous ambient entertainment designed for all audiences.
As a novelty, this year's edition extends its duration to three days, which will allow for a better distribution of activities, although there will be no programming on Sunday afternoon. In addition, new elements are incorporated, such as a minute camera, which will recreate the beginnings of popular photography, and the recreation of a social club as a meeting point for daily life of the era.
One of the fundamental pillars of the event is the participation of residents and the associative fabric, whose involvement in the recreation of scenes provides authenticity and unique character to the exhibition. The event also takes place in a unique setting such as Vilafamés, recognized as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Spain”, which reinforces its tourist and cultural appeal.
