The provincial sports scene in Castellón is celebrating the rise of a new promising talent. This is Ignacio Iglesias, a young golfer who, with his recent victory in the Spanish U-18 championship held in Zaragoza, has caught the attention of the national squad.
His outstanding performance has earned him a call-up to represent Spain in a tournament against the England team, which will take place this weekend in Madrid. This achievement solidifies Iglesias as one of the great hopes for Spanish golf.
The young athlete, a member of Mediterráneo Golf and Club Costa de Azahar, where he began his career, will also represent the Valencian federation in the Inter-regional Championship at the end of April. Subsequently, on May 3, he will compete in the Spanish U-16 Championship, demonstrating his versatility and talent across different categories.
