Grupo La Plana has presented its 2025 ESG Report today, a document it has released annually since the 2022 fiscal year to highlight its performance in environmental, social, and governance matters, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement beyond regulatory requirements.
The report outlines the company's main advancements within its 2023–2027 Sustainability Master Plan, demonstrating how it integrates ESG criteria into its strategy, management model, and daily operations. Its publication is thus consolidated as a key tool for sharing the organization's evolution and its contribution to a more responsible business model with its stakeholders.
Among the most significant milestones of the year, Grupo La Plana received the EcoVadis Gold medal, placing it among the top 5% of companies globally evaluated for sustainability. This recognition validates the company's work in areas such as environmental management, labor and human rights practices, ethics, and responsible purchasing.
Another relevant advancement in 2025 was the implementation of its Climate Action Plan, a tool through which the company strengthens its contribution to the fight against climate change and its goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2040. The plan addresses areas such as energy efficiency and transition, sustainable mobility, ecodesign, circular economy, environmental awareness, and business continuity.
Furthermore, in 2025, the company allocated 174,726 euros to social and environmental initiatives, reinforcing its connection with the community and its commitment to generating a positive impact beyond its industrial activity.
In parallel, the group has continued to advance in the sustainability of its operations, achieving 99.12% of materials from renewable sources and having 100% of its production plants FSC certified, which reinforces its commitment to responsible resource management and a production model increasingly aligned with the principles of circularity, traceability, and respect for the environment.
The renewal of Grupo La Plana's Purpose, Vision, Mission, Value Proposition, and Corporate Values is part of the launch of its 2026–2028 Strategic Plan. In this context, the group has updated its Purpose to “Committed to packaging for a better world,” reflecting its desire to strengthen its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and people.
With the publication of this new ESG Report, Grupo La Plana consolidates a transparency and accountability tool through which it shares the year's progress and how it incorporates ESG criteria into its daily management.
