A member of the Emboladors La Tenalla team experienced a significant scare during the Sant Pere de Verona bullfighting festivities in Alcalà de Xivert, after being gored by a bull.

The bullfighting festivities of Sant Pere de Verona in Alcalà de Xivert concluded with a major scare in the bullring located on Paseo Héroes de Marruecos. The incident occurred during the 'embolada' of a bull, the second of the night, when a component of the Emboladors La Tenalla team, from Torreblanca, was surprised by the animal.
The affected person, who was holding the bull by its tail, was gored by the animal after it made a 190-degree turn, throwing him to the ground. The young man remained motionless on the ground and was lifted by organization members and colleagues. He walked out on his own to be attended by the medical services hired by the organizers of the 'els fadrins' festivities in the municipality.
Following the incident, the team member was admitted to Vinaròs hospital, where it was confirmed that he had only suffered minor contusions and scratches. The three days of festivities, which included the exhibition of livestock and the 'embolada' of six bulls, had proceeded normally until this last event.
On this final day of cows and bulls, livestock from the Lucas Tárrega iron, from Vilafamés, was exhibited, and at night two bulls were 'embolados', one from the aforementioned Lucas Tárrega and another from Fernando Mansilla, from Ulldecona (Tarragona).
