The Civil Guard arrested a French national on June 10 in Benicàssim who was on the run from justice and subject to a European Arrest and Surrender Warrant.

The operation began after receiving an alert regarding the possible presence in Spain of this individual, who was wanted by French judicial authorities for his alleged involvement in a firearm murder linked to drug trafficking activities.
Civil Guard agents established a surveillance and tracking operation to confirm the suspect's location. Thanks to these investigative efforts, the man was identified and located in a tourist apartment in the town of Benicàssim.
Following the arrest, the individual was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority to proceed with the European legal process. The operation was carried out by Civil Guard officers from the Castellón town.
