The town of Benicàssim is preparing for one of its most special moments and has now opened the call to choose the new faces of its festivals. From April 15 to 30, the City Council opens the period for children and young people from the municipality to apply to become representatives of the 2026/2027 Patron Saint Festivals.
The current representatives, Marta Mas Dinten and Ariadna Galán Zorrilla, along with their courts, will pass the baton to a new generation of festival participants who will be protagonists in September, during the festivities in honor of Santo Tomás de Villanueva, and also in January 2027, in the celebrations of San Antonio Abad and Santa Águeda.
The children's court will be made up of boys and girls born in 2016, while the youth court will bring together young people born in 2006, 2007, and 2008. In addition to living a unique experience, those chosen “will represent Benicàssim in numerous traditional events throughout the province, becoming ambassadors of the essence and spirit of the municipality,” explained the mayor of Benicàssim, Susana Marqués.
“"It is a unique opportunity to be part of Benicàssim's festive history and experience the festivals from within."
Interested individuals can submit their application easily through the City Council's electronic headquarters or in person at the Citizen Information Service (SIC), from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, until April 30.
