The town of Almassora celebrated the festivity of Saint Vincent Ferrer on April 13, 2026, a day marked by devotion and tradition. The events included a solemn Eucharist at the Parish of the Nativity of Our Lady, followed by a processional route that passed through the streets of the Vila.
The Mayor of Almassora, María Tormo, was present at the celebrations, accompanied by several members of the municipal corporation and the festival's clavarios, the Caudet-Maximino family. The mayor expressed gratitude for the collaboration of all residents, which she considers fundamental for keeping these deeply rooted traditions alive in the municipality.
“"These festivities reflect the pride we feel for our roots and popular celebrations. From the City Council, we will continue to support them, as they are an essential part of our history."
Citizen participation and institutional support underscore the importance of these celebrations for Almassora's cultural identity, reinforcing the commitment to preserving local festive heritage.
