Almassora has celebrated its NGO Fair, highlighting solidarity and citizen participation, and has awarded prizes to the best bulls from the Santa Quitèria festivities.

The NGO Fair in Almassora has highlighted the work of the municipality's social associations and collectives. The event, marked by coexistence and solidarity, attracted numerous residents to Pere Cornell square, where information stands were set up. The mayor, María Tormo, accompanied by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Eugenia Martinavarro, thanked the entities for their involvement and daily work with the most vulnerable people.
The fair served as a meeting point for residents, associations, and collectives, who showcased their projects and reinforced their commitment to social care, emphasizing the importance of the associative fabric in the town's life.
In parallel, Almassora celebrated the awards ceremony for the best bulls exhibited during the Santa Quitèria festivities. The main award for the best bull went to an animal from the Toros de El Torero ranch, displayed on the final day of the festival. This prize was valued at 600 euros and sponsored by Caixalmassora, with support from the bullfighting clubs El Caragol and El Trasto.
The award for best presence also went to a bull from the same ranch, named 'Golfo'. Additionally, the prize for the best 'embolada' (a bullfighting event) was given to an animal from Carmen Valiente, while the best exit was awarded to a bull from the ranch of D. Arcadio Albarrán.
The top three ranches of the cycle were Hermanos Benavent, Hermanos Bellés, and Hermanos Cali. The most outstanding cow of the week was 'Mariposa', from Hermanos Benavent. Municipal representatives, the festival queen, Martina Caparrós, and her court of honor participated in the award ceremony during a meal held at the Recinte Fester.
