The town of Almassora celebrated the feast day of its patron saint, San José, this Friday, May 1st, with a day of traditional events including a solemn mass and the blessing of the harvest.

The entities CaixAlmassora and the Cooperativa de Almassora were responsible for organizing the events, which were attended by representatives of the municipal corporation.
The program began at 10:30 AM with a solemn mass at the Parish of the Nativity of Our Lady. Following the religious ceremony, the traditional blessing of the harvest took place, one of the most significant moments of this celebration, highlighting the importance of the local agricultural sector.
To conclude the day, the organizing entity presented gifts to children under 15 years old and offered a wine reception to all attendees, thus bringing a festive and traditional day in the municipality to a close.
