The day, declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, was marked by devotion to the patron saint, gastronomic distribution, and high citizen participation. Official events began with a solemn mass at the parish church of the Nativity of Our Lady, attended by the festival queen, Martina Caparrós, the court of honor, and municipal representatives led by the mayor, María Tormo. Regional and provincial authorities such as Vicente Martínez Mus, Vicente Tejedo, Antonia García Valls, and Luis Martínez were also present.
Following the traditional midday 'mascletà' (firecracker display) and an institutional visit to the Vicente Vilar Morellá municipal residence, the blessing of Les Calderes and the subsequent rice distribution took place. The mayor highlighted that the celebration represents "the solidarity, coexistence, and spirit of unity that characterizes the people of Almassora," emphasizing the historical and emotional roots of this tradition.
As part of the day's events, the City Council presented the Caldera d’Honor (Honorary Cauldron) award to the company Two7Tiles for its innovative trajectory in the ceramic sector. The firm, founded in 2010 and specializing in large-format porcelain, has been recognized for developing its own techniques and machinery. The award was collected by Ramón Muñoz Montiel and his parents, Andrés Muñoz Simón and Rafela Montiel Briones.
During the events, a solidarity check for 6,655 euros, raised during the pilgrimage through the sale of ribbons, scarves, and the festival booklet, was also presented to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of Almassora. The local president of the entity, Ramona Palomares, and the provincial president of the AECC, Maira Barrieras, accepted the check.
This year, approximately 8,000 portions of rice were distributed, prepared in 52 cauldrons, with 22 of them cooked in the street, keeping alive one of Almassora's most emblematic gastronomic and popular traditions. The day will conclude with the traditional procession in honor of Santa Quitèria and a final firework display.
