The Sant Vicent Ferrer Festivities of 2026 will gather residents from La Nucía, l'Alfàs del Pi, and Altea at the Captivador hermitage, featuring a diverse and free program running from April 10 to 13.

This annual celebration, held the weekend after Easter, serves as a meeting point for the three towns, thanks to the hermitage's strategic location. The event is organized by the Festivities and Culture departments of the municipalities of l'Alfàs del Pi, Altea, and La Nucía, in collaboration with the Associació II Centenari de l'Ermita de Sant Vicent, the Parish of La Nucía, and the Majorals 2026 - Penya Els Festers.
The program includes a variety of cultural and leisure activities. On Monday, April 13, Sant Vicent's day, a round table discussion titled 'Sant Vicent Ferrer: social, political, religious, and cultural influence of the Valencian Holy Apostle' will be held at the CEM Captivador. This will be followed by the traditional procession of the saint's image and a mass in the hermitage square, featuring the Coral 'l'Alfàs Canta' and the Grup de Danses de Pedreguer.

"Once again, the awaited Sant Vicent Festivities 2026 arrive. These are days when the Captivador hermitage brings together people from Altea, l'Alfàs, and La Nucía. These festivities have a special charm due to their location, in an incomparable setting and an atmosphere of coexistence among neighbors and visitors."

Music will also play a prominent role with concerts and 'tardeos' (afternoon parties) at the festival tent. On Friday, April 10, the group El Malecón and Dj Davidom will perform. Saturday, April 11, will feature Bandeta Bèrnia and Pervesió with Dj Myke. On Sunday, April 12, David Kratos and the local group The Boliquets will entertain, with Resident DJs closing the night.
Additionally, sports activities will include 'Jocs de Raspall' for children from the Escola de Pilota Valenciana de La Nucía and an exhibition match of 'llargues' on Saturday, April 11. On Sunday, April 12, the XXI La Nucía Pedestrian Race will take place, starting from the Plaça Major and finishing at the hermitage, where children's races will also be held.
