The event, which took place this weekend at the ADDA, has once again consolidated its trajectory as one of the oldest and most relevant calls in the cultural sphere of the provincial institution. The Culture deputy emphasized the importance of this competition for the promotion of local music.

The groups awarded the first prize and honorable mention in their respective categories were the Unión Musical de Muro de Alcoy (1st Section), the Ateneo Musical de Cocentaina (2nd Section), the Unión Musical de Polop de la Marina (3rd Section), and the Agrupación Musical Mediterráneo La Vila Joiosa (4th Section).
The deputy congratulated all participating groups, especially the winners, and thanked the large audience from across the province. He also reaffirmed the Provincial Council's commitment to continue supporting the bands, considering them a cultural hallmark of great recognition.
The competition jury, which evaluates aspects such as tuning, sound, interpretation, and technique, highlighted the high quality of the groups. The winning bands will have the opportunity to participate in the Band Competition of the Valencian Community, organized by the Valencian Institute of Music.
