The City of Sport in La Nucía will host the 'Scout Torch 2026' on May 9th and 10th, an event that will bring together more than 200 young scouts from across the Valencian Community to compete in various sports challenges.

The activity, organized by Scouts Valencians and Grup Scout La Nucía, with the collaboration of the City Council of La Nucía, will take place at the Camilo Cano Sports City. Registrations are already open and are processed through each scout group in the Valencian Community.
The presentation of this event was attended by Lucía Escolano, coordinator of Grup Scout La Nucía, and Bernabé Cano, mayor of La Nucía. The 'Scout Torch' is aimed at the scout unit, which includes young people aged 15 to 18, and participation is expected from groups in Castellón, Valencia, and Alicante.
During the two intense days, participants will compete in various sports disciplines such as blind football, volleyball, basketball, flag rugby, 'cemetery' (a game), and athletics relays. The scout group that accumulates the most points in all events will be declared the winner of the competition.

"We want to thank Scouts Valencians and Grup Scout La Nucía for choosing La Nucía for the 'Scout Torch 2026', a sports activity that will bring together young scouts from all over the Valencian Community for two intense days of competition and coexistence. This way, we will also showcase our Sports City to the different scout groups that participate."
