Benidorm will add a new four-star hotel by the end of 2026, following the comprehensive transformation of the former Calas Marina, with a 19 million euro investment to modernize its facilities.

This establishment, which will operate under the international brand Ibis Styles from the Accor group, is expected to open in the last quarter of 2026. The project, driven by Engage Management Hospitality, has focused on a complete renovation of the property, maintaining its original structure but with a totally renewed image and Mediterranean decor.
The future hotel, located about 500 meters from Poniente beach, will feature 131 rooms, seven of which are suites, distributed over eight floors. Additionally, it will have gardens, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, terraces, a rooftop area, and parking. The rooms will have an average area of 22.6 square meters, plus terraces of about eight meters.
The 19 million euro investment is part of the company's growth strategy, which manages hotels in Spain, France, and Portugal. The comprehensive renovation of facilities and services will elevate the establishment's category from three to four stars, offering a concept based on the “Mediterranean Sun.”

"The project involves a total renovation of the building, both interior and exterior, transitioning from its previous aesthetic to a more current image, with a predominance of white and the incorporation of new architectural elements."

The opening of this establishment also provides a boost for the La Cala area, where the hotel offering had not increased since the construction of the Gran Hotel Bali in 2002. The connection with a global French chain will attract international clients, strengthening the diversification and modernization of the tourist offer in this enclave.
