The Councillor for Citizen Participation, Joaquim Devesa, and the president of Corazón Expres and spokesperson for the associations, Magdalena López del Castillo, have confirmed the celebration of this third edition. Devesa emphasized the consolidation of this fair as a fundamental space for the visibility of the municipality's associations, thanking the effort of the 29 entities involved.
“"This fair has consolidated itself as a space for the visibility of all the associations in the municipality, with 29 associations involved in this edition, to whom the council wants to thank for the effort shown."
The councillor highlighted the importance of the people who are part of these associations, who often dedicate their personal time to address the needs of the community. The fair not only seeks to showcase the activities they carry out but also to foster new collaborations and synergies among entities, as well as attract new members.
As a novelty, a catalog-style magazine has been published, which includes information on the 29 participating entities and opinion articles on the role of associativism in Altea. Joaquim Devesa reiterated his gratitude to the entities and introduced Magdalena López del Castillo, who thanked the City Council for the opportunity to publicize the work of the associations.
“"We are grateful that they provide us with this space and support us."
The spokesperson invited the residents of Altea to visit the fair to learn more about the work of the associations, their identity, and the reasons for their existence. The event will feature music and various activities, emphasizing the understanding of each entity's work and their complementarity.
The III Altea Associations Fair will open its doors at 10:00h and remain open until 14:00h in the Town Hall Square. The councillor reminded that it is not a fundraising fair, but rather an exhibition space for the many hours of work invested by animal welfare, social protection, economic development, and cultural associations, promising a fun and enjoyable morning.
