A 57-year-old woman was rescued this Sunday on the Senda Fosca del Montgó, in Dénia, with a possible ankle fracture, according to the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante.

Personnel from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Alicante carried out the rescue operation of a 57-year-old woman suffering from a possible ankle fracture. The incident occurred on the Senda Fosca del Montgó, within the municipality of Dénia.
Emergency services received the alert around 10:39 AM, and the rescue lasted until approximately 12:00 PM. To locate and evacuate the woman, the rescue helicopter service was activated along with the Special Rescue Group (GER).
Once rescued by helicopter, the woman was transferred to a medical unit from the Information and Coordination Center for Emergencies (CICU). The attention took place at the Dénia Fire Station, from where she was transported for appropriate hospital care.
