Constitution Square in Moncofa will be transformed thanks to a finalist proposal from the Ceramic Urban Regeneration Contest (CRU IV), with an investment exceeding 700,000 euros.

The Moncofa City Council has launched an ambitious redevelopment project for Constitution Square, with a total budget of 722,550.07 euros. This initiative, aimed at enhancing the municipality's urban quality, will be funded by the council and supported by the Impulsa Plan of the Provincial Council of Castellón, which will contribute 247,380 euros.
The proposal, which received a special mention in the fourth edition of the Ceramic Urban Regeneration Contest (CRU IV), will be executed by the architecture firm 'el Fabricante de Espheras'. The goal is to create a renewed, functional, and pedestrian-friendly space, with ceramic material as a central element to reinforce local identity and the industrial heritage of the province of Castellón.
The Deputy for Ceramic Promotion, Vicente Pallarés, highlighted the CRU's role as a driver of urban transformation, emphasizing that not only winning proposals but also finalist ones can become reality. He recalled similar successful projects in municipalities like Canet lo Roig and la Vall d’Alba, underscoring the program's continuity and effectiveness.
