A 57-year-old woman was rescued this Saturday after suffering a possible ankle fracture while on the Senda Fosca trail, in the Montgó natural park, Dénia.

A 57-year-old woman was rescued this Saturday after suffering a possible ankle fracture while on the Senda Fosca trail, in the Montgó natural park, Dénia. The alert was received at 10:39 AM and the operation concluded at 12:00 PM, according to the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters of Alicante.
A rescue helicopter, along with the Special Rescue Group (GER), was deployed for the rescue, locating and evacuating the affected woman from an area of difficult access.
Subsequently, the woman was transferred to the CICU health resource at the Dénia fire station for transport and hospital care.
