The Orquesta de la Marina Alta (OMA) will perform one of the season's most ambitious concerts this Sunday, April 19, at the Teatre Auditori de Beniarbeig, featuring over 80 musicians on stage to interpret works by Richard Wagner.

The Teatre Auditori de Beniarbeig will host this Sunday, April 19, at 7:00 PM, an OMA concert entirely dedicated to the music of Richard Wagner. This large-scale production will bring together more than 80 musicians on stage, offering a unique musical experience in the region.
Under the direction of Francesc Estévez, the Orquesta de la Marina Alta (OMA) will perform some of the most prominent excerpts from the German composer. Among the selected pieces are The Ride of the Valkyries and Siegfried's Death, works known for their remarkable expressive power and complexity.

"It is one of the most demanding and ambitious proposals of the season, both due to the size of the ensemble and the characteristics of the repertoire. Conducting a concert dedicated to Wagner is one of those gifts that life bestows upon you."

Francesc Estévez · OMA Director
The concert, titled Wagner · Redemption: Death and Love, is part of the Orquesta de la Marina Alta's 2026 program, within the cycle Music and the Word. It represents a great opportunity to hear live music that, despite its historical relevance, is not common on regional stages.
Tickets are priced at 40 euros and can be purchased through the Notikumi platform. They will also be available at the box office one hour before the concert begins, for those who decide to attend last minute.
