The mobilization supports the indefinite teachers' strike and calls for the participation of families, teachers, and students under the slogan “For the future of our sons and daughters”. This is the second protest in the city since the strike began, following the one held on May 13th.
Key demands include reducing classroom ratios, supporting the Valencian language, calling for decent educational infrastructure, and rejecting cuts and precarious working conditions in education.
The platform encourages attendees to bring noise-making objects, wear a green or pink t-shirt, and carry a protest banner to highlight the educational community's discontent.
The Dénia protest is part of broader mobilizations across the Valencian Community in defense of public education, amidst tension between the educational community and the regional administration regarding school conditions, language policy, and resources allocated to the education system.
