The Labor Inspectorate has initiated an administrative sanctioning procedure against Aprosdeco, an entity managing sheltered homes linked to the La Xara Occupational Center in Dénia, due to alleged labor irregularities.

This procedure, which is still ongoing, was opened at the request of a complaint filed by the UGT union. According to the information, the action affects three sheltered homes and approximately 20 workers of the entity in the town of Dénia.
Among the alleged irregularities detected by the Labor Inspectorate, the administration of medication by personnel without the required health qualifications is included. The performance of cleaning tasks by personnel whose professional category is that of educator, as well as the existence of episodes of violence suffered by the staff, have also been noted.
Furthermore, the Inspectorate has identified possible deficiencies in the prevention of psychosocial risks, in the management of aggressions, and in the organization of employees' working hours.
For its part, sources from Aprosdeco have indicated that the file is in the processing phase and that the entity has submitted its corresponding allegations. They have stated that they will not provide detailed assessments until there is a final resolution and have reiterated their commitment to occupational safety and health.
