The event, organized by the Xàbia City Council and the Jávea International Festival Association, will open each day starting at 6:00 PM with free admission. The festival is consolidating itself as one of the most recognizable cultural gatherings on the local calendar and as a space for coexistence among residents and visitors.
This year's edition introduces Thailand as a main novelty, joining the festival for the first time. Additionally, Morocco and Uruguay return after several editions of absence. They will be joined by representatives from Germany, Algeria, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, France, England, Italy, Madagascar, Mexico, Switzerland, and Venezuela.
For three days, Avenida Augusta will transform into an intercultural space offering gastronomic proposals, musical performances, traditional dances, and cultural expressions specific to each participating country. The organization aims to provide an open experience to the public and reinforce Xàbia's international character.
Among the highlighted activities, the delegation from Switzerland will offer a daily demonstration of the alpine horn, a traditional instrument linked to Swiss culture and particularly representative of the alpine regions. This exhibition will allow the public to discover one of the country's most unique musical expressions and complements the planned activities to bring the traditions of each delegation closer to attendees.
The president of the organizing association, Raúl de Lope, and the vice-president, Darío Franchi, have emphasized the work carried out in recent months to prepare this new edition. Both have encouraged citizens to participate in an event that allows them to discover the cultural and gastronomic richness of numerous countries within a single venue.
The mayor of Xàbia, Rosa Cardona, has highlighted the importance of a festival that is part of the municipality's identity and that, after more than three decades, continues to be linked to coexistence and respect between cultures. She also thanked the efforts of the organization, the delegations, and the volunteers who make the event possible each year.
The program will once again make the International Festival one of the major summer events in Jávea, with three nights dedicated to cultural exchange, music, gastronomy, and international coexistence.
