Firefighters intervene in electrical fire on Dénia building facade

The Provincial Fire Consortium of Alicante is responding to a fire caused by external wiring on a two-story building in Dénia.

The Provincial Fire Consortium of Alicante has intervened in an electrical fire on the facade of a building in Dénia, specifically at Quevedo Street 34, with no injuries reported.

The fire originated in the braided cables on the exterior of the facade, at the height of the first floor. The alert was received at 11:33 AM and the intervention by emergency services is ongoing.
Upon the arrival of the firefighters, there was no one inside the two-story building. The crew has notified Iberdrola to cut the electrical supply and inspect the affected installation.
A command unit, a heavy urban pump, and a ladder truck have been dispatched to the scene. The intervention team from the Dénia fire station consists of a sergeant, a corporal, and six firefighters.
