The Club Les Marines de Calp has achieved a historic success at the National Base Cup of Teams Championship in Santander, placing all three of its teams in the national 'top 10' and becoming Spanish runner-up by autonomous communities in the cadet category.

The delegation from Club Les Marines de Calp traveled to Santander to participate in the national phase of the Base Cup of Teams, held on May 7 and 8. The Calp expedition completed a memorable performance, ensuring all its teams were among the top ten in the country.
The cadet team, already crowned regional champions, was the first to compete. Despite a small error during their routine, the gymnasts maintained a provisional podium position for over two hours, finishing in tenth place nationally. Their score was the best in the Valencian Community for their category, proving crucial for the Spanish runner-up title by autonomous communities, a recognition they received on the podium.
On the same day, the junior team demonstrated great maturity. Despite a last-minute injury to one of its members, the gymnasts achieved eighth place nationally and were the third-best team in the Valencian Community in their category, one of the most demanding.
The participation of the children's team concluded the club's success. With a flawless routine that reflected the entity's strength and character, the children's team secured ninth place nationally, also becoming the third-best Valencian team in their category. These results consolidate the sports project of Club Les Marines de Calp, a result of the joint effort of coaches, gymnasts, and families.
