The Business Circle of Marina Alta (CEDMA) has opened the call for the CEDMA 2026 Awards, introducing new rules that expand participation to all companies and entities in the region, regardless of their affiliation with the federation.

The new rules, unanimously approved by the Board of Directors last January, represent a significant change from previous editions. For the first time, any company, entrepreneur, association, or entity in Marina Alta can submit proposals, whether or not they are linked to CEDMA or its federated associations.
The deadline for submitting nominations will remain open until May 6, 2026. Another novelty is the composition of the jury, which will be mixed and will include members of the Executive Committee and external representatives from the business, academic, and public administration sectors, replacing the previous model focused on CEDMA's Board of Directors.
In this edition, four awards will be granted: the Business Trajectory Award, the Sustainability Award, the Innovation Award, and a Special Recognition for Regional Commitment. Nominations must be formalized through the corresponding document available on the CEDMA website (empresarios-cedma.es), including company information, contact details, and a justifying report of merits.
The awards gala will be held on June 4 at the Hotel Dénia Marriott La Sella. CEDMA encourages all businesses in the region to participate in this call, which seeks to recognize excellence, innovation, and commitment to the economic and social development of Marina Alta.
