The Calp City Council has launched a new edition of the Local Employment Plan, funded with 286,279 euros, to promote the labor integration of 19 individuals facing special difficulties in accessing the job market.

This call for applications foresees the temporary hiring of people registered with the Public Employment Service to perform various tasks linked to municipal services. Functions include support in public works, crowd and facility control, cleaning, and the repair and maintenance of public buildings.
The selection process will be carried out through a merit-based competition. The 19 positions offered are distributed as three caretakers for educational centers, three caretakers for sports facilities, ten cleaning operators, and three environmental wardens.
To participate, applicants must be registered with the Public Employment Service for a minimum of six uninterrupted months, be registered as residents in Calp as of January 1, 2026, and be at least 16 years old.
Given the social nature of this plan, aimed at creating employment and improving the employability of vulnerable groups, the criteria will prioritize social factors such as being a beneficiary of Social Services aid, belonging to a large family, or being in a situation of unemployment, among others. The publication of the rules and the opening of the application period are expected in the coming weeks.
