On July 21st, coinciding with Belgium Day, Calp will host a new edition of Calp Drumt, the international drummers' gathering, which is relocating to Avenida Europa this year.

The event, aiming to establish itself as a unique cultural highlight on the Costa Blanca, is expanding after the success of its first edition. The new location on Avenida Europa will improve organization and better integrate the area's commercial and hospitality activities, enhancing the event's European and multicultural character.
Approximately 75 drummers from various nationalities are expected to participate, welcoming both amateurs and experienced musicians, maintaining the event's inclusive and free nature. New additions include a greater musical and audiovisual dimension, featuring performances by two Belgian groups, MG Brothers and Planet One, as opening acts.
An official music video will be filmed during the event, using different locations within the municipality to boost Calp's international profile as a cultural destination and a filming location. Additionally, a large-format LED screen will be installed for live viewing of the performance.
The celebration coincides with Belgium Day, a significant date for Calp due to its substantial Belgian resident community. Collaboration with Belgian establishments and the hospitality sector on Avenida Europa aims to foster an atmosphere of coexistence and cultural exchange.
Interested drummers should send an email to radiocalp@ajcalp.es, providing their full name, nationality, and T-shirt size. No professional level is required.
