The town of Benissa will host the presentation of Cant d Estisorar on Monday, May 18th, a musical proposal that fuses oral tradition with contemporary sounds.

The event will take place at 7:30 PM at La Casa dels Andrés i de Pere Bigot. This project seeks to reinterpret the oral heritage linked to the agricultural tasks historically performed by women in raisin cultivation.
The initiative is supported by the Impulsa Cultura program of the Salom Sabar Foundation. During the presentation, the first screening of the music video and a discussion with the artistic team will be offered, ahead of its official release on digital platforms on May 22nd.
The work has involved the collaboration of a local researcher and the participation of women from Benissa, who have lent their voices to create an intergenerational dialogue. The proposal revisits traditional songs such as La Burreta or Xiquetes aprepareu-se from a modern aesthetic.
Access to the presentation will be free until full capacity is reached. With this initiative, the Marina Alta region reinforces its commitment to safeguarding oral culture through new sound languages.
