A total of 400 students from nine schools in Dénia are visiting the Beniadlà Drinking Water Treatment Plant (ETAP) to learn firsthand about the water purification process.

This initiative, organized by Aqualia and the Dénia City Council, aims to promote the rational use of water and convey the importance of managing this natural resource among young people. The visits are taking place over these weeks.
4th-grade primary students from various schools, including CEIP Cervantes, CC Carmelitas, CEIP Pare Pere, La Xara, CC Maristas, CEIP Llebeig, CEIP Pou de la Muntanya, Alfa y Omega, and Montgó, receive detailed explanations about the operation of the water treatment plant.
During the tour, students learn about the integral water cycle, from its capture until it reaches their home taps. This activity is part of the various actions that Aqualia organizes to raise awareness among youth.
Among these activities are the International Children's Drawing Contest, aimed at primary school children, and interactive courses and games available on the children's section of the website, all designed to raise awareness about the responsible management of this vital resource.
