Photographer Alfredo Sanz Moncho, from Dénia, has achieved unprecedented success at the XXX edition of the 'Tema Dénia' Photography Contest, organized by the Department of Culture, by winning three of the four awards granted by the jury.

Sanz Moncho's trajectory in this competition was already notable, with several victories in previous editions. However, on this occasion, his participation has stood out exceptionally, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in local photography.
In the best tourist photography category, Alfredo Sanz secured both first and second prizes with his works Madinat Daniya and Curiosidad, respectively. These recognitions come with endowments of 600 and 300 euros.
Furthermore, in the artistic photography category, the second prize, valued at 300 euros, also went to Sanz Moncho for his black and white image titled Invierno. The first prize in this category, worth 600 euros, was awarded to Paco Costa Cervera, from Jesús Pobre, for his work Paseos de buena mañana.
The XXX edition of the contest received a total of 60 photographs, with 31 competing in the artistic modality and 29 in the tourist one. The jury responsible for the evaluation comprised plastic artist Alejandro Álvarez Liberti, Culture Councillor Raúl García de la Reina, Tourism Department technician of the Dénia City Council Eva Asperilla, and Culture Department technician Mavi Rovira, who served as secretary.
A selection of the participating photographs will be exhibited at the Casa de Cultura de Dénia from April 9 to May 2, offering the public an opportunity to enjoy the awarded works and other notable submissions.
