The event, which brought together a broad representation of the region's sports community, served to cap off a record-breaking 2025/26 season, during which the entity surpassed 2,400 licenses for both senior and junior athletes. During the ceremony, hosted by Verónica, ACYDMA president Alberto Portillo and councilman Valen Alcalà spoke to review a campaign marked by constant growth. As a new development, it was announced that there will be no summer tournaments this year to allow for rest before September.
In addition to the presentation of League and Cup trophies, the night was marked by the emotional tribute plaques awarded to the former mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt Boronat; to Juan Femenia Illan (from the Ondara Veterans team); and to Francisco Ahumada Alvarez (from the Candilejas Mercatoldo team); as well as a special recognition for the work of the 27 members of the Arbitral Committee.
This summer there will be no summer tournaments to recharge forces for September.
The gala recognized the best of the 2025/26 season across various categories. In the women's Football 11 category, Daimús CF emerged as the League and Cup champion, while Iria Alsina Ginestar (EMF Pedreguer) was the top scorer. In Senior Futsal, the Gold League award went to Candilejas – Mercatoldo, who also won the Cup. Raul Ruiz Rodriguez (Els Poblets) was the top scorer. In the Football 11 +33 (Veterans) category, U.D. Oliva Veteranos stood out as League champion and top-scoring team, and Veterans El Verger won the Cup. Cristian Rico Bermejo (UD Oliva Veteranos) was the top scorer.
